Gina has a background across journalism, strategy consulting, event production and sponsorship.
Whether she was honing her skills at marketing strategy consultancy, Contagious, or exercising those skills at social enterprise hack community, Good For Nothing – Gina has brought her energy and passion for people working on problems that matter from the UK and implementing them in New Zealand. Gina says “for all the people wondering how to get more meaningful work into their lives: I wouldn’t be doing what I do today without having volunteered in something I felt passionate about on top of my day job. Spending time on what feels important will lead to future opportunities that might currently be impossible to grasp. I can only encourage everyone who feels like they might not be in the right place right now to carefully test the waters (or jump in the deep end, of course) in ways that suit – whether that’s volunteering, starting your own venture on top of your day job, doing an internship or finding work with purpose.”
